Scottish Living Wage. Salary: £22 939.18 pro rata per annum (37 hours FTE, Scottish Government Living Wage)

Role Purpose

This is a minibus driving role based from a number of locations across the Scottish Borders, in particular we would like to hear from applicants in the Duns and Kelso areas.

This is a Zero Hours contract offering driving cover to full time members of staff, our working pattern is between Monday and Friday from the hours of 6:30am-6:00pm.

Training will include full PVG application, Driver Induction, full MIDAS training and route learning prior to deployment. D1 training for B licence holders who are successful at interview may be provided. Following training opportunities exist for drivers in Full and Part Time work on a variety of school, SAN (Special Assisted Needs) and Commercial bus driving work.

Previous experience is desirable.

Essential

Full manual driving licence with minimum Category B. D1 (Minibus up to 16 seats) training may be provided for B licence candidates who are successful at interview.

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
