The role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join Adbri Cement for the sales and marketing team of Adbri Cement packaged products in SA Metro and Regional areas.

Reporting to the Packaged Products Manager, the Account Manager will be responsible for nurturing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure successful and sustainable commercial outcomes for Adbri Cement.

This is a full time, permanent position that is based in Birkenhead , SA

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to a vast array of existing and new customers throughout South Australia to maximise market share and profitability.
• Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to assigned customers.
• Plan and execute regular customer visitation in line with Salesforce CRM standards.
• Manage market opportunities and sales pipeline for packaged products.
• Monitor, review and provide monthly reports on market activity/share through sales reporting, meetings and Salesforce.
• Contribute to monthly forecasts and provide data on key volume or Price and Margin movements by customer and product.
• Maintain strong product knowledge.

What you will need to succeed

• Well-developed business acumen
• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on building relationships
• Confidence and self-motivation to achieve targets and identify opportunities for growth.
• Flexibility to travel regionally as required.
• Demonstrated experience in a sales role, preferably with exposure in SA’s building and hardware retail sectors.
• Team player with hands on approach
• Intermediate computer literacy using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint (essential) and experience with Sales Force and SAP (Preferred)
• A commitment to your safety and wellbeing and care for others
