Job Title: Aircraft Component Technician

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday days.

Salary: £25-35,000

Location: London Heathrow, UK

We are currently looking for an Aircraft Component Technician to join a world leading aerospace company based near London Heathrow, UK.

You will be responsible for:

* Maintenance of components in accordance with the relative OMM/CMM and standard working procedures
* Completing clear workshop records
* Working as part of a team
* Identifying issues arising from maintenance regime and provide solutions for issue resolution
* Completion of shift handover
* Carrying out AOG roster duties
* Scrapping components and prepare for recycling as required
* Resolving warranty claims
* Releasing EASA/CAA form 1 certificate
* Assisting quality manager in the completion of internal and external audits
* Carrying out other duties as director by manager or shift supervisor
* Keeping working areas tidy

You will need to have:

* BTEC diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or electromechanical)
* Worked within a part 145 organisation before or using CMM booklets
* Experience in working on Aircraft component maintenance
