Job Description
The Commercial Contract Analyst will play a crucial role in managing the contract drafting administration and workflow process, while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements across a range of senior stakeholders. You will be detail-oriented, highly organised and will have strong written and oral communication skills.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Essential duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Responsible in the overall contract administration process, including managing contract change notes and maintaining contractual governance;
- Building an understanding of existing contractual relationships becoming familiar with master agreements and associated schedules;
- Liaising with areas of the business affecting contract changes;
- Awareness of legislation and having an understanding of its impact on existing contracts in place;
- Supporting with the administration of communication with external legal representation when required;
- Creating and maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers;
- Supporting in the facilitation of regular contract and commercial review updates presenting pending CCN positions, changes in law, commercial impacts;
- Maintaining master obligation matrixes and reporting on same

Qualifications
Experience (essential):
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and capability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders;
- Exceptional attention to detail, and talent for accuracy and precision;
- Basic understanding of contracts, contract governance, contractual language and the contract lifecycle;
- Basic understanding of the business or industry, its services, customers and providers;
- Ability to make good decisions under pressure as well as ability to accomplish multiple tasks in limited time frames;
- Willing to learn and continually improve and develop business processes and personal skills.
Desirable:
- At least 1 year’s previous experience working within the IT industry working within a similar role
Education and Qualifications
(essential):
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or law related subject
