The content team at Manchester City continues to grow rapidly, creating daily video content ranging from TikTok clips through to feature length documentaries and live content production output.  We require a production runner to work as part of the production operations team, providing essential production support to our teams, across all stages of our content production.

We are looking for a highly organised Production Runner with technical knowledge to maintain our daily camera maintenance, provide essential production support and assist in our media management workflows.

Your Impact

1. You will be aware of latest production equipment, with a passion for learning about new technology and how it functions.  One of your core roles will be understanding all aspects of our camera equipment, how it works, and how we use it.   You must be able to troubleshoot any issues with our camera equipment, to ensure our camera kits are ready to be used once they are released from your care and supervision to the production team.

2. Camera experience essential, as you may be required to operate camera equipment, to provide additional support on production shoots., set up and de-rig technical equipment required.

3. Assist the production team in the upkeep of our video archive system, with daily logging of video clips and knowledge (and ideally previous industry experience) with video metadata and media management.

4. An enthusiastic worker who has evidence of experience in a fast-paced media production environment.   This role will involve assisting on a wide range of different shoots and having to work at short notice with some evening and weekend work essential.

5. Upkeep on our internal kit management software and checkout systems. Ensuring all new kit is onboarded into this system, and troubleshooting any issues with

6. General daily production support including prepping filming kits, moving equipment from various shoot locations, and assisting with our talent, contractors, and freelance resources. 

7. Some experience with Premiere Pro and the wider Adobe Creative Suite would be desirable.
