About the Role: Cover Supervisor As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of regular classroom teachers. Your role will involve supervising students, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring that pre-prepared work is completed in a supportive and positive environment.
Key Responsibilities: Cover Supervisor - Supervise students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, ensuring that behaviour expectations are upheld and learning objectives are met.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and activities across a range of subjects, following provided lesson plans and instructions.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students with their learning, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain consistency and continuity in students' learning experiences.
Requirements: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and manage groups of students in a classroom setting.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced educational environment.
- A passion for working with young people and supporting their learning journey.
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential.
