RGN/RMN at River Meadows Nursing Home
River Meadows Nursing Home is seeking a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the highest standard of care to our residents and ensuring the smooth running of the home.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality nursing care in accordance with best practice and professional standards.
- Work collaboratively with other health professionals, families and carers to ensure the best outcomes for residents.
- Undertake assessments of new residents, developing individualised care plans.
- Monitoring vital signs, administering medication and responding to medical emergencies as necessary.
- Ensure all clinical documentation is up-to-date, accurate and compliant with relevant legislation.
- Maintain a safe environment that meets all regulatory requirements.
- Provide emotional support to residents as needed.
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required.
Requirements:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
- Previous experience working in a similar role within an elderly/dementia care setting preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and an empathetic approach towards patients.
