Job description
Leading in the development of bid proposals/contracting arrangements for the SSNR portfolio of programmes; reporting into SSNR Commercial Director and supporting the SSNR Senior Leadership Team to:
Identify and develop new opportunities through coordinated bid management / campaign planning
Manage customer requirements in liaison with Commercial Function/SSNR Commercial Director
Align internal (Management Committee) stakeholders to assure efficient application of governance to approve bid proposals
Condition external landscape to assure customer's intent is matched with appropriate approvals and budgetary provision in their system
Lead in bid solution design and development
Reporting progress through monthly Bid Status Review process
Coordinate all Lifecycle Management (LCM) activity through concept to contract award (ahead of handover into the respective delivery organisation)
Your skills and experiences:
Ability to work across functions, drawing on subject matter expertise to support bid proposal development
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and briefing skills
Adopting a strategic outlook to condition the contracting landscape for success
Driving a delivery focus to manage the bid process through to contract award
Proven Commercial and Project Management delivery experience within a complex programme landscape
Resilience to accommodate uncertainty, moving timescales and requirements
