We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Geography Mentor to join our client secondary school and sixth form in Tower Hamlets . As a Geography Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students to excel in their studies and develop a deep appreciation for the world around them.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive Geography lessons to small groups of students.
- Provide one-on-one mentoring and support to students struggling with Geography concepts.
- Create innovative resources and activities to enhance students' understanding and enjoyment of Geography.
- Collaborate with teachers to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted intervention strategies.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic goals and aspirations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field.
- Previous experience working with secondary school students, preferably in a mentoring or tutoring capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography education.
- The ability to inspire and engage students from diverse backgrounds.
- Flexibility, patience, and empathy when working with students facing academic challenges.
