Lead Python Engineer
Rate: £800 Outside IR35
Location: Central London - 3 days per week
Length : 6 Month
We are seeking a talented Lead Python Engineer to spearhead a crucial project focused on developing a cutting-edge pricing solution, specifically tailored to the renewal context within the London Market Insurance industry. As a Lead Python Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in creating a bespoke pricing calculator, with the entire backend implemented in Python.
Experience working within a London Market Insurance Client is essential to be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of a bespoke pricing calculator for insurance renewals.
- Implement the backend of the solution entirely in Python.
- Utilize expertise in working with hyperexponential solutions, with a preference for those familiar with the London Market and general insurance.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the complexities of the insurance industry for successful project execution.
- Emphasize backend development, ensuring the solution's robustness through proficient testing.
- Foster a collaborative working style, actively engaging with business partners throughout the project.
Python Developer Requirements:
- Proven experience in building pricing solutions, particularly in the context of insurance renewals.
- Proficiency in developing bespoke pricing calculators using Python for the backend.
- Previous work on hyperexponential solutions or similar pricing tools such as Aon Tyche.
- Ideally, familiarity with the London Market and general insurance.
- In-depth understanding of the complexities of the insurance industry.
- Collaborative approach to working with business partners.
- Quick onboarding process, involving an initial call with Alex followed by a technical discussion.
