IT Support Technician
Ilkeston Role and key responsibilities for IT support technician - Provide technical support and assistance to staff members experiencing IT-related issues with PCs and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, ensuring systems are functioning optimally.
- Troubleshoot network issues, including connectivity problems and configuration errors.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of company websites, making alterations and updates as needed.
- Manage software licenses, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and maintaining accurate records.
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement solutions and improvements.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all company information and data.
Minimum Requirements for IT support technician - Proven experience in IT support, with a focus on troubleshooting PC and equipment issues.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in website creation and/or alterations using relevant tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of software licenses management and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
