Job description
We are recruiting for an immediate start role for a well regarded Secondary School in Newcastle. The school is very easy to reach by car and public transport . This position is Monday to Friday 8am to 3pm - TERM TIME ONLY
This position has a very strong possibility of becoming permanent after a qualifying period
The Role:
- You will need to be fluent in Arabic
- You will Support pupils that have English as an additional/second language within the classroom
- You will Support pupils with their progress in English
- Translate between both languages
- Provide learning opportunities within the classroom and when socialising
- Work collaboratively with teachers
You will work both 1:1 and across class with your small cohort
We require
- Appropriate experience supporting secondary students
- EXCELLENT written and spoken Arabic and English
- A fully check-able work history - able to provide references and confirm Right to work
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- Long-term availability and commitment to the position
