Our client seeks a Commercial Finance Manager to join their team. Role Profile: Feel connected to global opportunities by joining our clients Team in the Falkland Islands as a Commercial Finance Manager. Seeking a proactive, highly motivated senior manager to lead and oversee the Accounting and Finance team across the South Atlantic and Diego Garcia Region. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with an appetite for growth and strategic direction. The role will entail the post holder to collaborate with other managers to optimise financial performance, maximise potential revenue opportunities, prepare and present financial reports to Group level and senior management, and develop and engage the direct team to achieve the departmental and company goals. Key Responsibilities: To be responsible for the Finance operation for South Atlantic Limited & Diego Garcia (SADG).To be responsible for long-term financial planning to secure SADGs continuing profitability. To establish sound financial control to support the development of SADG. To advise the Chief Executive, Senior Management Team on all matters relating to South Atlantic's financial strategy, ensuring that strategy is implemented. To be responsible for the Customer Accounts, Regulatory Accounting, Commercial Finance and Revenue Assurance functions in Falkland Islands, including support for the St. Helena, Ascension and Diego Garcia businesses. To assist in the formation of the companies' corporate objectives, strategic and short-term plans designed to develop and promote the companies' portfolio of products and services. To ensure that these plans are implemented effectively and profitably. To ensure that all product and portfolio margins are agreed and maintained. To manage the production of monthly financial performance measures and expenditure against budget for all directorates. To liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure full disclosure is provided and all SADG policies and governance are complied with. Key Skills and Experience. A professional accounting qualification, full or part qualified with membership of a recognised professional body, essential. Appropriate first degree/post graduate degree, desirable 3 years + in a Financial Management position. Experience in the production and scheduling of commercial and financial plans. Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, Word and Excel. Excellent written and oral communication, troubleshooting, decision making, organisational and time management skills. Energy and enthusiasm with good leadership skills. Commercially astute, with a meticulous attention to detail. Ability to influence at all levels.
