Position: Accounts Senior – Manchester Practice
Location: Bolton Area
Salary: £30K+
Puro Accountancy is supporting our client during an exciting stage of expansion due to organic growth. The team are a thriving Accountancy Practice in the Bolton Area who are seeking a dynamic Accounts Senior to join their Audit and Accounts Team, contributing to the diverse and engaging mix of businesses we serve across various industries.
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare limited company statutory financial statements for Small and Medium-sized companies
- Produce disclosure notes to financial statements
- Demonstrate understanding of basic Corporation tax and deferred tax principles, with a grasp of basic tax planning
- Train junior team members to enhance their professional development
- Effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders
- Undertake other professional service roles as required by a busy accountancy practice serving clients in diverse industry sectors
Ideal Candidate Background: - Highly competent with solid commercial awareness, possessing several years of experience within general practice
- Extremely motivated and adept at working in a fast-paced environment
- Currently working through ACCA, ACA exams or equivalent (or Qualified By Experience)
- Strong understanding of Xero and Sage, preferable
- Experience in producing SME accounts for a wide range of industries
- Innovative thinker, able to use initiative and approach challenges creatively
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of successful communication with individuals at all levels, both financial and non-financial
- Committed and experienced professional
Details of the role: - 35 hours per week
- Competitive annual salary dependent on experience
- Annual salary review in January
