Management Accountant (Part-Time 0.6 to 0.8)
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: Dependent on experience
Mount House School is a small, co-educational independent day school for students aged 11 – 18 years located on a stunning rural site on Camlet Way in the London Borough of Barnet. With 260 students currently on roll, the School has ambitious plans and investment to grow to 350 in the coming years. We are seeking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant, to play an essential role in the day to day operations of a busy Finance Department. Our ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with advanced Excel skills. The key responsibilities are preparing monthly management accounts, the annual audit, budgeting and forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. This post holder is also responsible for Companies House administration.
This is an important role in the school for an organised person who can prioritise effectively, display flexibility and work to tight deadlines. The candidate must be a team player, numerate with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to demonstrate high standards of presentation, both verbal and written to reflect the nature of the school. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and able to plan and manage their own workload and be content to be part of a hard-working team with a strong personal work ethic.
