About the job
An opportunity has arisen with Newcastle under Lyme Borough Council for a part time cleaner. You will work as part of a team of carrying out various cleaning duties, ensuring all areas of the building and changing rooms are presented to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and carry out instructions, is able to pay close attention to detail and will commit to providing outstanding service to our members and customers.
Job duties include:
To undertake cleaning as per the cleaning schedule provided to include daily, weekly and periodic specific jobs
To clean all public areas including changing areas, showers, and toilets
Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns you identify
To complete and sign task sheets as required.
To ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are used and stored in line with health and safety, and COSHH guidelines.
Requirements
Knowledge of cleaning procedures
Able to work as part of a team and alone
Proactive and flexible to cleaning requirements
Previously worked in a similar environment is desirable
Maintain a professional and courteous approach to all users.
Able to work day times, evenings and weekends
