Job description
We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager on behalf of a company that specialises in the design supply installation and maintenance of highquality outdoor spaces for commercial and private clients and has an offering that includes playgrounds outdoor fitness equipment skate parks and Padel Tennis Courts.
On offer for this sales development role is a salary of up to 35000 a generous and open ended results based commission scheme company car or car allowance laptop mobile phone etc.
As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the development of new business opportunities and sales for Padel Tennis Courts with a target customer base that includes Tennis Clubs Golf Clubs Other Sports Clubs Local Authorities Holiday Parks Schools and other education related establishments that will include following up on incoming leads and looking to generate business from existing and new customers.
As the Business Development Manager you will be:
- Responding to incoming leads that come from the court manufacturer as well as those that come into the company.
- Reviewing the current customer base highlighting and contacting any relevant ones to promote the sport of Padel Tennis and the company as a supplier of the courts.
- Proactively researching and contacting Tennis Clubs Golf Clubs Sports Clubs Local Authorities Holiday Parks and Schools to promote the sport and the range of courts available.
- Working to understand Padel Tennis if you don t already its benefits key selling points and using this insight to best target new business for the company.
Requirements
To be considered as the Business Development Manager you will need:
- Sales and Business Development experience from within a related sector (tennis sports equipment sports clothing sports courts sports pitches etc. surfacing outdoor structure playground equipment skate parks etc.)
- Strong business development account management and relationship building skills.
- Excellent organisational time management and planning skills.
- Good listening skills and the attention to detail skills to ensure you understand the need space size etc. and a solution based approach to sales.
- Full initial training on the sport court solutions and target customers will be given and that support and assistance will continue as you develop your knowledge of the sector.
