Job Description
As Shipping Coordinator you will be reporting into the Operations Manager and can expect to have the following responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all shipping and delivery processes
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely deliveries
- Optimise shipping routes to maximise efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation
- Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documentation
- Manage relationships with logistics service providers
- Resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process
- Continuously improve shipping strategies to drive down costs and improve service
The Successful Applicant
The successful Shipping Coordinator will come with the following skill-set
- Experience in a shipping or logistics role within the industrial / manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of shipping legislation and procedures
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Driver's license there may be times items need to be reviewed on site for clients for certain projects so ability to drive is almost key but a close proximity to Basingstoke is essential.
- A Foreign language Either Spanish/French/German is a nice to have

- Basic Salary - £28k-£34k
- 22 days holiday + UK Bank holidays
