Job description

Clinical Psychologist – SEN School – April 2024

We are currently seeking an experienced clinical psychologist to join our team, contributing to bespoke assessment and intervention plans, driving positive change in our services.

Our Specialist School in Kent caters for students between the ages of 5 and 19 with a primary diagnosis of Autism.  
The successful candidate will become part of a well-established clinical team, collaborating with Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Assistant Psychologists, and Therapies Assistants. 

This role will involve facilitating multi-disciplinary teamwork, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our students.

Clinical Psychologist – The Role:
•    Collaborating within MDT and Clinical Governance structures
•    Supporting service development and ensuring quality assurance
•    Creating empowering environments for our pupils
•    Upholding a strong safeguarding culture
•    Full Time, Permanent 
•    52 weeks per annum
•    Up to £60,000 (depending on experience) 

Clinical Psychologist – Essential Criteria:
•    Qualified Clinical Psychologist 
•    Post-graduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology
•    HCPC and BPS registration
•    Experience supervising Assistant Psychologists
•    Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and additional needs
•    Ability to work collaboratively and resolve conflicts effectively
•    Continuing professional development relevant to the setting
•    Substantial post-qualification experience with adults and children
•    Lecturing/teaching/training experience
•    Full UK driving license and access to a car
•    Data management skills
