Job Description



What you’ll do

You will be providing expert advice on data protection regulation and good practice to maintain compliance. This role will also be responsible for the policy, procedures and processes which will ensure compliance across all group companies. 

You will also undertake and manage the handling of subject access requests and data protection breaches.

Qualifications



What you need

You will possess a strong understanding of data protection legislation in the United Kingdom, coupled with hands-on experience in managing data protection breaches and access requests. The role requires expertise in advising on data protection matters, especially those related to sensitive personal data. You should demonstrate the ability to efficiently handle a diverse workload with time-sensitive demands while maintaining accurate records and generating professional reports on data protection issues. Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint, is essential. A collaborative team player with a significant service ethos, the candidate should exhibit a positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and adapt to change. While experience in the health and social care industry or other regulated sectors is desirable, it is not mandatory.
