Job description
AK Teaching are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor to work in one of our alternative provisions. The position will be temporary ongoing.
JOB ROLE
The role will involve managing classrooms & ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set.
The successful candidate will work school hours and will get weekends and school holidays off. We also offer a Refer a Friend Scheme & Guaranteed Pay Scheme to some applicants.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with young people.
- A positive approach to supporting students.
- A passion for education and helping young student reach their potential.
All applicants must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo relevant DBS checks.
As a Cover supervisor, the successful applicant will; monitor progress, encourage a positive learning environment and enable pupils to enjoy learning, even when it's difficult. The successful applicant will have the ability to monitor pupils, be committed, hardworking, resilient and a strong team player.
