Head Chef - Busy Rural Pub Restaurant - Crediton - £35K-£40K
Talented Head Chef required, must have a passion for fresh seasonal produce and enjoy working as leader of a small kitchen team. The ethos of the pub being; Fresh, Home Made, Innovative and Exciting using the best seasonal and Award Winning Produce available in Devon.
You will have worked previously as Head Chef (5-10 years experience) and an have excellent knowledge of produce and know how to use it to prepare and serve a wide range of Dishes. Typical menu's previously included dishes with Modern British and European influence as well as classic and traditional dishes from around the world, all intended to offer casual fine dining in a great Country Pub setting.
You should have a good understanding of what it takes to run a kitchen in a friendly and professional manner, encouraging the best from your team. You will be responsible for menu design, costing, purchasing, stock control/rotation and further training of your kitchen team to build and maintain a solid crew.
