Senior Structures Engineer
Based Midlands (B3)
Salary to £47k + excellent package
Senior Structures Engineer is required to join a consultancy at the forefront of engineering. You will play a central part in a landmark highways project. The successful person will be instrumental in steering the design delivery. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of tasks, including conducting meticulous surveys and inspections to ensure the integrity and viability of structures. You will craft detailed feasibility studies and technical reports that will serve as the foundation for informed decision-making.
Your strategic acumen will be called upon for planning, programming, and cost estimation, ensuring that the project is not only designed with excellence but also aligns with financial and timeline objectives. The role demands a hands-on approach to design production, coupled with the creation of comprehensive design schedules that will guide the project to successful completion.
To excel in this role, a robust background in structural engineering is essential, preferably within the context of major highways or similar large-scale infrastructure projects. Your technical proficiency should be complemented by a proven track record in leading design teams and delivering projects that meet and exceed expectations. Must be Chartered either with ICE or IStruE.
