Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK's largest private hospitals, with 8 state-of-the-art facilities, and circa 1350 employees where we are dedicated to providing our patients with expert, individualised treatment and care. Our main hospital spans 8 floors comprising of 150+ patient beds and 10 operating theatres, including a Hybrid theatre and two minimally invasive/day surgery theatres. Speciality areas include, General surgery; ENT; Gynaecology; Hepatobiliary; Neuro-spinal; Ophthalmic; Orthopaedic; Plastic and reconstructive; Robotic; Urology; Vascular & Weight loss surgery (bariatric surgery).

The Procurement team provide professional procurement expertise, advice and services across the organisation ensuring value for money is achieved, whilst fundamentally supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care. Procurement includes:

Job Profile

As Medical Devices Manager / Medical Devices Safety Officer (MDSO) you will be responsible for the management of medical devices/equipment at The London Clinic. The remit will include managing the preventative maintenance, calibration and repair functions related to medical devices. You will manage the medical equipment asset register and work with the Procurement team in sourcing new equipment as well as replacements in line with the capital replacement program. As Medical Devices Manager / Medical Devices Safety Officer (MDSO) you will be responsible for coordinating The London Clinic's responses to Medical Device Field Safety Notices, Field Safety Corrective-Action Notices and Central Alerting System (CAS) Alerts.
