Our delightful 18-year-old client loves listening to music, shopping and has a love of aromatherapy, she likes to use her switch toys and she enjoys engaging with people her own age. She is looking for Support Workers to help with all aspects of her daily living, if you think you might be a good fit, we would love to hear from you.
The Role/Client:
- S is non-verbal and has Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. She is a full-time wheelchair user who is dependent on others to help her with all activities of daily living including personal care, medication administration, PEG feeding and implementing her therapy programmes.
- She lives with her parent and younger sibling and is looking for Support workers who will provide hands on support (mostly working with another Support Worker).
- A uniform will be provided, which should be worn during shifts.
About You:
- You will need to be a driver, able to drive our client’s automatic car to take our client to school. It should also be pointed out that the client lives in a remote area without nearby public transport so you will have to be able to reliably get to and from our client’s home for your shifts.
- You will ideally have at least 1 years’ complex care experience in some of our client’s care area needs. Full training will be provided, and you will be supported by a Case Manager and the wider team.
- You will be caring, friendly and reliable. You will be proactive with a positive outlook on life, respectful of working with S in her family home environment.
Pay:
- £16 per hour on weekdays.
- £18 per hour weekends.
- £20 per hour bank holidays.
Shifts available:
- Thurs & Fri 7.30am to 7.30pm.
Sat 10am – 6pm.
