Job description

At TP Tutors we have an exciting opportunity to help young children with achieving their academic goals within maths. This role will require someone who can create and plan exciting and engaging sessions to maximise the children's potential in all aspects of the subject.

The role:
- Working 1:1 or with small groups of Alternative Provision pupils in a school, community hub setting or in the home
- Planning engaging sessions to encourage engagement and a new love of learning
- Track pupil progress and provide feedback using our bespoke learning platform
- Be undertsanding and aware of the pupils SEN/SEMH needs
- Remain in contact with pupils parents/carers/key workers

The requirements:
- QTS is preferred, but we will consider someone with substantial subject and tutoring experience with Alt Pro pupils
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes.
- Enhanced child workforce only DBS on the DBS update service (support in obtaining one can be provided).
- Professional references from your two most recent employers - totalling 2 years from a 10 year career history.

To be successful in your application, you must be able to provide evidence of this as skills and experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
