Stores Assistant

Doncaster - £12.01ph

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (30-minute lunch break)

Salary: £12.01p/hr

Holidays: 28 days whilst temp, increases to 33 (25 plus 8) when taken on perm

Based in the stores, the Stores Assistant will:

Liaising closely with the Purchasing Manager you are responsible for maintaining stock levels in the main stores and goods inwards

You will be involved with the warehouse and engineering teams, keeping up-to-date with orders for despatch and regularly liaising with Material and Production planners to adjust deliveries when needed.

You will play a major part in sourcing & purchasing cost effective materials, components, and consumables

Update SAP after stock takes have taken place and provide the necessary data to support the Min/Max stock levels to be implemented where required

To maintain and restock the engineering parts stores within SAP and ensuring that purchasing records remain true to the correct budget

To be successful, the Stores Assistant will have:

Good standard of relevant education is essential, we are looking for English and Math's GCSE (or equivalent)

Good working knowledge of SAP and experience in stores dealing with engineers who want products that may not be available that day

The Stores Assistant is temp at first, permanent for the right person
