Job description
If you an enthusiastic Implementation Consultant, or Systems / Project Accountant with experience of successfully implementing accounting and finance solutions into client sites or group companies, and you're technically savvy and outgoing, then this is a terrific company to join - buzzy, successful, busy, professional, great atmosphere, excellent management.
The software here is a fully functioning accounting solution; it is multi-company, multi-currency and multi-jurisdictional, plus it's a complex project accounting and project costing solution that is fully integrated and covers forecasting, cashflow and financial accounting. Your job would be to deliver successful software implementations from initial analysis through to go live, including workshops, configuration, data migration, training and hand holding. The software is used in global construction companies and has a large element of specialist accounting to it.
As a Finance Implementation Consultant here, you will have lots of interesting projects to work on with complex finance functionality, as the product is specifically for construction and the accounting is specialised. Much of the time, the clients know what they want, and you will be trying to map those needs with the best way they can be met with the software. The job is remote and flexible with travel to client sites where required; you can be based anywhere in the UK. Consultants all work from home - but need to be onsite for the workshops with the client, and the beginning of the testing stage; everything else can be done remotely. Salary to £55k and private health insurance.
This global software company has an impeccable track record of delivering on premise and cloud-based ERP solutions for the construction and engineering industries. Their systems are intuitive and very flexible, and aside from the accounting aspect, include areas like plant & machinery, contractor payments, management reporting, marketing, estimating, facilities management, HR & payroll, project costing, procurement, and asset management.
You have a strong background of accounting and finance implementation; any knowledge of construction, estimating or FM software solutions would be a real bonus. Accounting skills and / or qualifications, with the ability to talk about charts of accounts, revenue recognition, P&L and project accounting, is essential.
Typically, your role will cover the full life cycle from looking at the business processes of your client, gathering requirements, workshops, software configuration, testing, and implementation, to training and post implementation hand holding. Initially you will work alongside a Senior Consultant to learn the ropes and the software. Projects range from 25 to 100 users.
This is a phenomenally successful company, which has expanded globally, but has managed to retain a great atmosphere and a family environment with very low staff turnover. There is a lot of variety and clients range from small construction companies to global corporate giants.
If this has whetted your appetite, please apply and Jake King will get in touch.
