Job description
Staff Selection UK are currently looking for Sheet Metal Workers in Sheffield.
The Role:
- Conducting manufacturing functions from start to finish
- Develop and fabricate items including but not limited to lobster backed bends, elbows, tee pieces, reducers, square to rounds, vessel dome heads, valve and flange boxes
- Conducting quality assurance checks
- Cleaning the work area to ensure a clean and tidy environment is maintained• Completing visual inspections of equipment and machinery
- Working with the Fabrication Technical Team Leader to develop skills and knowledge
- Providing support to Fabrication Facility Supervisor when required
- Working with Trainees
Skills Required:
- City & Guilds Sheet Metal Fabrication or equivalent
- Good organisational skills
- Engineering/production experience
- Experience of quality control
- Experience of technical drawings
- Knowledge of health and safety controls
