As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced Director of Technology to join the team and drive their technology strategy forward.

Job Description

As the Director of Technology, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the technology strategy that drives this business forward. You will work closely with the executive team to identify opportunities for innovation, analyse market trends, and ensure that their technology is aligned with the core business objectives. You will be responsible for growing and leading a Technology specialists to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of the organisation and its partners.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing the technology strategy that aligns with the business objectives.
• Managing a growing team of developers and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensuring that our technology is scalable, secure, and reliable.
• Identifying opportunities for innovation and driving technology initiatives that support our growth.

What you'll need to succeed

• Computer Science, master's degree or MBA educated.
• Experience in senior leadership roles within a scaling technology business.
• 5 to 10 years of senior leadership experience across Systems/Applications, Networking, Security, Solutions Architecture, Software Engineering and Data Management.
• Strong experience in developing and implementing technology strategies.
• Knowledge of best practices within Software Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Security/SecOps and Data and Analytics.
• Experience working in fast moving FinTech/VC backed organisations that are experiencing high growth.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Computer Science, master's degree or MBAeducated.

What you'll get in return You can expect a basic salary in the region of £80,000 along with share/equity options of up £40,000 per annum, offering the right individual a long-term wealth creation opportunity.
