Grounds Maintenance Operative

Tall Oak Tree Surgery and Grounds maintenance carry out services for multiple clients across the UK. We are seeking an Operative to join our team responsible for general grounds maintenance- using hand tools and powered horticultural machinery.

You will need to be a team player- comfortable working alongside others, but also on your own.

No two days will be the same; you will be covering grass cutting, hedge maintenance, shrub beds, leaf clearance, gritting and herbicide spraying.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop in this industry and would like career progression.

Experience of working as a Groundsman / Grounds Maintenance Operative, with any of the following skills would be highly preferable:

Experience of using relevant machinery; pedestrian and sit-on, tractors, scag mowers etc.
•Horticulture / technical qualifications
•PA1/PA6 Pesticide Spraying Licence
•H&S and first aid knowledge
•Full UK driving licence
•Grounds Maintenance Occupations: 2 years (preferred)
•Be a team player and demonstrate initiative

Job Types: Full-time,
Permanent or Subcontracting basis
Office based in Lichfield
