Position: Fabricator/Welder
Location: Smethwick, B66
Salary: £13-17 per hour DOE
We are seeking the best Fabricator/Welders to join an industry leading Architectural Metalworks organisation based in Smethwick, West Midlands.
The Role Full Time, Temp to Perm On-Site role.
Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm with an early finish on Friday. Overtime is paid and expected to make sure that the work is completed.
Main Responsibilities
- Selecting, measuring, cutting and joining appropriate metals to specifications
- Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assembly
- Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately
- Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools
- MIG & TIG Welding
- Use of hand and power tools
- Adhoc additional tasks
Person Specification
- Proactive and has the ability to work without supervision
- Enthusiastic and willing to work overtime
- Experience working with Steel (2+ years)
- Desire to learn and grow within the company
- Ability to commute to Smethwick, B66 on a daily basis
Experience
- Fabrication: 1 year (essential)
- Mig Welding: 1 year
- Tig Welding: 1 year
