Job description

Ashley Kate HR & Finance are currently working with an international manufacturing business in the Wigan area, in recruiting a HR BP to join their team. Based on site at their Wigan site, paying circa £45k.


Reporting to the Strategic HRBP you will be the lead for all Employee Relations within the manufacturing side and so it is essential that you have dealt with high case loads of ER. You will also be involved with all coaching of managers on site in terms of new initiatives and projects, and as such will also be involved in delivering workshops in order to aid the engagement of employees.


Talent Development and succession planning are a major focus for the business so you must have demonstrable experience of being involved in such projects and be able to identify high performers along with any issues that may arise.

The HR BP will join a busy and dedicated UK team and be a key interface with the international HR function, and manage and develop a small HR team.


The role:
Coach/Guide/Develop management and their capabilities in management of HR issues
Management of Employee relations, absences, performances, and data reporting
Lead ad hoc HR and Change projects
Recruitment lead for the manufacturing business


As a key member of the team, its important you have a passion for HR and managing stakeholder relationships within the business. You will be an effective communicator, who can influence, challenge, coach and develop. Ideally you will be CIPD qualified, and you must have previous experience in a generalist role, A background in Manufacturing, supply chain, commercial retail, FMCG, distribution essential.
