Costs Lawyer or Draftsperson
Location
Greater Manchester | United Kingdom
Job description
Job Details
- Unrivalled flexibility – a fully remote role
- Great prospects as part of highly respected, growing team
We are delighted to bring to market this exclusive role for a Costs Lawyer/Draftsperson to join an established team working fully remotely.
As the rest of the legal market continues to clamp down on hybrid working, you’ll enjoy ultimate flexibility, working for a firm that operated a working-from-home model way before 2020.
The role comes with excellent career prospects as part of a growing, highly respected team of expert costs advisors, lawyers, negotiators and draftspeople. Additional benefits include an enhanced holiday allowance and pension package, and much more.
You will handle your own caseload of litigated and non-litigated cases, so you will need to be comfortable with all aspects of costs work, including budgeting, and be a confident negotiator.
You’ll pursue the settlement of costs, conduct file reviews to formulate an initial costs strategy, provide comprehensive advice to clients, commence early telephone negotiations with the other side and liaise, as required, with insurers throughout the life of the file.
