Job description
We are recruiting for an Arts and Culture Programme Assistant here at East Lindsey District Council. This is an opportunity to be part of a team who are passionate about cultural place regeneration in Lincolnshire.
It’s an exciting time to be working in cultural development for the South and East Lincolnshire Council’s Partnership. We have received Arts Council England Funding to be a National Portfolio Organisation, our project uses arts and culture to celebrate our area’s heritage. Our developmental project requires a Programme Assistant to support our Programme Manager to coordinate and deliver activity across Boston, East Lindsey and South Holland.
No day will be the same and the ability to independently and flexibly manage your workload is a must. You will have a good understanding of project support, managing data and financial procedures.
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to present information in a variety of formats and you must also be comfortable with meeting new people and attending events.
What we need from you:
Experience of working with stakeholders and commissioned service providers
The ability to manage a workload with conflicting priorities and demands on your time
Digital and social media experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

ABOUT US: Boston Borough Council, East Lindsey District Council and South Holland District Council have formed the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership. The largest Council Partnership in the country. Since October 2021, the Partnership Councils have been working closely to deliver improved services to the communities in the sub-region and already there have been many positive outcomes.
