Job description
Due to ongoing growth and succession planning, an experienced Management Accountant is required to join a successful manufacturing business. This diverse role offers a combination of hands on technical finance duties, alongside various commercial elements including supporting with continual improvement initiatives and providing input to decision making.

Your New Role as Management Accountant:
Receiving sufficient levels of support from the finance lead, as Management accountant duties will include:
• Ownership for the production of meaningful management accounts
• Preparation of statutory accounts, being the primary point of contact for auditors
• Production of budgets and forecasts
• Cash flow reporting
• Liaising with production and departmental heads to provide financial insight and advice
• Provision of ad hoc reports and analysis to aid effective decision making
• Be a key player in upcoming projects as required
• Mentoring and supporting 2-3 junior accounts staff, to facilitate their skills development
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
The successful Management Accountant will be proven in a similar level role, ideally with exposure within a manufacturing or product based environment. CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification is desirable although candidates who are QBE will be considered. Significant experience of business partnering within finance is hugely advantageous as this role involves working cross-functionally within the business, presenting financial information and influencing/challenging where appropriate.
