FINANCE AND RESOURCES DIRECTOR

We are looking to appoint a Finance and Resources Director to lead the business operations of the School to support us in achieving the school’s vision. A part-time working option is also available.

We are progressive and ambitious and are looking for a professional with an entrepreneurial approach who is driven and ready to take on and deliver our development initiatives.

You will be responsible for providing overall strategic leadership and management of the School’s finances and other core business services to create an inspiring and sustainable learning environment allowing senior leaders to focus on delivering outstanding student outcomes.

The role, therefore, requires a creative strategist and proactive leader who can not only effectively run the School’s daily operations but who can look after the business side of the School functions and ensure the School’s secure financial position for the years ahead.

We are more interested in a candidate who has the abilities of a high performing professional than direct experience of the educational sector.

About Central Foundation:

Located on the Old Street Silicon Roundabout and at the heart of the Tech City, the School is a high performing comprehensive. The students’ outcomes have been consistently outstanding both at KS4 and KS5. In 2022, our Progress 8 was 0.83. 50% of all grades achieved by the Year 11 students were at grade 7,8 or 9. Computing/ICT is a popular GCSE option and is also delivered at KS5, both as a vocational and an A level course.

We offer a broad curriculum with a focus on academic subjects as well as vocational education. Our extra-curricular provision supports the student experience in classroom. Sport, Music, Drama, Art, Coding, Debating or Cooking are very popular with our students who over the years developed their talents and skills in many subject areas.
