What you would do as our Technical & Specification Estimator.

Collaborating with Technical & Specification team to assist in the creation and management of bespoke architectural ironmongery pricing enquiries to order. This role will also manage the preparation of ironmongery schedules using Intec or similar systems, from bespoke floor plans and relevant specification information provided while also providing technical advice on Carlisle Brass products to both customers and colleagues alike. 
You would also:
• Developing strong customer relationships to encourage specification/project enquiries to assist with conversion of Carlisle Brass specifications and quotes to orders.
• Analysing previous schedule and quote activity to help increase the win percentage so the team activities are commercially successful.
• Maintaining specifications and quotation logs as well as preparing and amending ironmongery schedules.
• Working closely with customers and the wider internal teams to gain competitor market intelligence, protecting current business revenue and identifying acquisition growth opportunities.
• Maintaining records to produce weekly & monthly reports as required.
• Providing technical & specification support duties at the discretion of the Technical Sales Manager.

 
The skills and experience you need 

We are looking for someone who: 
• A mind-set that always puts the customer first.
• Strong MS Office skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial acumen with a mind-set for continuous improvement.
• The ability to manage projects from initiation to completion and review.
• A proven track record in hitting targets and delivering projects.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated and proactive.
