Thompson Street West Darlington Co Durham DL3 0HZ Tel: 01325 253300 Email: [email protected] Headteacher Teacher: Mrs. A Abbott CLASSROOM SUPPORT ASSISTANT Fixed Term Contract - 12 months (Term Time Only) To start: April 2024 Salary: Band 2 SCP 4 Hours: Monday to Friday 46 weeks per year Hours: 12:30pm andndash; 3:30pm (15 hours per week) The HHPS family wish to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working Classroom Support Assistant. Candidates will need to possess both initiative and sensitivity and be proven effective team members. This post will involve supporting with the care and welfare of children within the school and assisting with maintaining a safe environment for pupils, including working on a one-to-one basis working with children with SEND needs. You must have the ability to work independently and to communicate both orally and in writing to a range of audiences. An ability to engage with children and enthusiasm for working with children will be essential.
