• Position:  Part Qualified Accountant
• Salary:£25,000 to £35,000 based on experience and qualifications
• Location:Hove
• Hours:  9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday – fully office based
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, optional pension scheme, study support/training available

We are looking for a part qualified accountant, who is either part way through or has fully completed their AAT qualification and is looking to continue with ACA or ACCA studies and ideally already has experience in an accountancy practice.

You’ll be joining a busy and established practice who are conducting accounting tasks on behalf of their clients.

The Part Qualified Accountant role includes:

• Preparing accounts and tax returns for a variety of clients
• Using and updating Iris and Microsoft Excel to manage accounts for clients
• Preparing limited company accounts and corporation tax returns
• Preparing VAT returns where appropriate
• Liaising with clients as necessary to assist in completing company accounts, tax returns and VAT returns in a timely manner
• Assisting Partners with audit work which are frequently carried out at client premises

You’ll need to have experience in a practice environment teamed with being qualified or nearly qualified AAT (or equivalent) and keen to progress your ACA or ACCA if you haven’t already begun studying it.
