Job Title: Experienced Spanish Teacher (KS3/KS4) - Temporary Position with Potential for Permanent Role

Location: Private School in Bromley

Contract: Temporary (January to Easter) with the possibility of a permanent position

Hours: 8.30 - 4.30(TTO)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Spanish teacher to join our dedicated team at a prestigious private school in Bromley. The successful candidate will teach Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students, providing engaging and effective Spanish language instruction. This position is temporary, spanning from January to Easter, with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and the school's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and deliver high-quality Spanish lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  2. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
  3. Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  4. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Spanish language curriculum.
  6. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  2. Proven experience teaching Spanish at the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels.
  3. A deep understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum and assessment requirements.
  4. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Commitment to professional development and staying abreast of best practices in language education.

Temporary to Permanent Transition: This temporary position offers the potential for a permanent role based on performance, school needs, and mutual agreement. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to showcase their teaching abilities and contribute to the school's language education program.
