Role Summary

Are you a disruptive and creative social media conceptual creative, looking to work for an agency at the cutting edge of Web3? Do you thrive developing creative executions out of any brief? Can you take a social strategy and turn it into engagement gold?

Lightning Sharks are looking to add to our team of social native thinkers and doers and are on the look-out for a mid-weight social creative. The Social Creative will work closely with a Social Media Manager and create distinctive social-first content that cuts through for our clients in the fintech and blockchain worlds.

As the Social Creative, you will be responsible for leading the ideation of content and executing social media strategies for our clients. Reporting into the Content Director, you will work closely with a Social Media Manager to identify the areas where we can make an impact, develop industry leading creative, and work with the production team to bring your ideas to life.

Role Responsibilities

• A passion for social media and growing social channel audiences
• A proven track record of interpreting strategy and delivering high impact social-first ideas
• Responsible for conceptualising and creating social first content ideas for all social platforms
• A creative mindset and an ability to innovate and ideate, from brief to delivery.
• Ferocious attention to detail, from asset to platform
• An experienced team player, from briefing production teams, to helping run ideation sessions, to delivering wash-ups to clients
• An understanding of how to read performance data and help turn stats into great ideas
• The ability to bring creativity and innovative thinking to the role which result in campaigns that pack a punch
• Develop engaging and relevant content across various social platforms
• Continuous relationship building with key influencers and content creators in our relevant industry
• Maintain strong client relationships by providing regular updates on campaign performance and progress and address and client questions or concerns promptly
• Working with the Social Media Manager to provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on campaign performance

• Proven experience and in-depth knowledge of creating and crafting "social first" ideas
• Proven ability to comprehend integrated 360 brand platform ideas and create corresponding concepts and ideas
• Experience in or a passion for the technology space, ideally blockchain or Web3 – can thrive in an innovative and disruptive industry
• Strong experience with campaigns across various social media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube Instagram and Tik Tok
• Understanding the various channel audiences, how to create meaningful and impactful ideas
• Highly strategic and creative
• Photoshop/video editing skills an advantage
• Strong team player that is highly collaborative and emotionally intelligent
• Willing to learn, share knowledge, be accountable and lead by example – fostering a strong, positive culture based on our values
