Job description
Our Client an East London based Manufacturer, Supplier and Installer of Windows, Doors and Curtain Walling currently seek an experienced Glass Cutter for their workshop in Rainham, Greater London.
Ideally you will have Glass cutting experience. However, our client are willing to consider anyone with Aluminium Fabrication transferable skills.
Responsibilities:
Using Glass Cutting Table
Using Glass Polisher
Using Glass Drill
Assemble Aluminium Windows and Doors using various tools and equipment
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Measure and cut materials according to specifications
Operate machinery such as saws, drills, and grinders
Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Qualifications:
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
This is a permanent position with a 3 month temp to perm period through Blu Tech Consulting
