Job description
Focused Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who are seeking an administrator to join their company based within the Blackwood area.
The main objective of this role is to ensure the efficient and effective administration tasks within the sales order processing function.
Hours of work:
Monday - Thursday 08:30am - 17:00pm. Fridays 08:30am - 14:00pm.
The company also offer:
- Flexitime (ability to flex start and finish times, and to bank up to 8 hours per month to take an extra day off the following month)
- 10 working from home days per year
- The option to condense hours every other week into 4 days to then have a Friday off
Duties of the role will include:
- Process sales orders in an accurate and timely manner.
- Review pending sales orders and expedite in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all paperwork is correct filed and archived as necessary.
- Ensure accurate checking of all orders input onto the system and making sales order amendments were necessary.
- Ensure all sales order checking/processing is complete prior to production schedule run deadline.
- Ensure departmental procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Ensure development and improvement in operation of the department and its procedures.
Essential criteria:
- IT skills are essential with experience of using Microsoft packages and the ability to adapt to new systems.
- Successful candidate must be efficient with good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience is desirable however not exactly essential.
