Senior BI Developer - PowerBI, London Markets, SQL



Senior BI Developer required for a leading London Market Insurer. For this role, you will sit within a technically advanced team with a strong Research & Development focus, supporting the buildout of data pipelines and implementation of pricing tools. You will be working closely across multiple business functions, as well as partnering with the Data Science and Data Engineering teams and providing key analytical insights and improvements to their data models and pipelines for maximising business performance.



Successful applicants will possess excellent PowerBI skills and be able to work across many different teams in the business, showing a particularly good grasp of data modelling and database concepts. You will also have good experience with data querying and manipulation using SQL. An additional nice to have will be experience of Azure cloud technologies and Databricks.



Responsibilities:

• Creating visualisations and reports
• Working with Data Science and Data Engineering teams and provide support for respective pipelines and models
• Maintain and develop dashboards in PowerBI while keeping
• Provide solutions to data issues

Requirements:

• Experienced as a BI Developer or similar roles
• DAX, Power Query, SQL
• Strong grasp of data modelling and database concepts
• Understanding of data visualisation methodologies
• Experience with Azure & Databricks will be a nice to have
