Atlas Copco Power Technique forms part of the Atlas Copco group, which was established in Sweden in 1873. The operations within the UK are, for the most part, dedicated to sales, service and installation. Atlas Copco Power Technique has its UK head office in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Service Engineer to join our team.
Your role:
Join Atlas Copco Power Technique as a Workshop-based Service Engineer where you will contribute to the profitability of our business by providing professional and efficient service of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Equipment... As part of the service team, you will report to the Service Operations Manager. You will be based in our Hemel Hempstead office.
Your responsibilities are:
- To promptly carry out servicing and maintenance on customer machines.
- To effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on equipment, workshop-based.
- To carry out PDI and commissioning of new equipment.
- To identify required parts to effect repairs.
- Complete admin tasks including hours recording and Job Reports.
- Ensure good standards of engineering practice at all times.
- To perform related duties as required.
- Goods in and Receivable admin for a workshop.
- Experience with servicing Plant construction equipment, examples include Air Compressors, Generators, Bess, De-watering Pumps, Light towers, Handhelds tools and Breakers.
- You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with our teams and external partners.
- You live within commutable distance of the workshop in Hemel Hempstead.
- You have a PC literate.
- You are enthusiastic and passionate, but you still work systematically and are focusing on delivering quality and results.
- You are fluent in English, as this is our internal language.
- You can work both individually and be a valuable member of a team.
- You must have the valid right to work in the UK for you to be eligible for this role.
