Embedded Software Engineer - £45k - £55k – Semi remote – Cambridge Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a rapidly expanding Electronics manufacturer based in Cambridge. They are now seeking a Embedded Software Engineer with solid experience working with Embedded C on Linux to develop a brand new range of connected devices. The company are rapidly expanding due to successful investment as well as partnerships with several multinationals in their sector. Your role will be primarily focused on prototypes and “first of their kind” devices so you will be using the latest tech available to solve complex technical challenges. The company have a diverse range of products and are now seeking an Embedded software engineer with excellent C experience targeting embedded devices. Due to the nature of the work they will require you on site 2-3 days a week with some flexibility on this. Key Skills: * Degree in Embedded Systems, Electronics, CS or similar * 2+ years commercial Embedded C on Linux experience * Experience writing C# for GUI applications is highly desirable. * Experience working on cellular connected devices * Linux Kernel experience is highly desirable but not essential. The company are rapidly expanding and are at the forefront of their industry. They are looking to pay circa £55k dependent on experience with potential flexibility beyond this.
