The Role:

 
As a General Cover Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in education by stepping in for absent teachers across different subjects and year groups. Your adaptability and versatility will be essential as you deliver high-quality lessons and ensure students' learning progress remains uninterrupted.

 
Key Responsibilities:

 
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons across various subjects and year groups
- Managing classroom behavior and ensuring a positive learning environment
- Providing support and guidance to students to facilitate their academic growth
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity in curriculum delivery
- Participating in staff meetings and professional development activities as required

 
Requirements:

 
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience working in a Secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and subject areas
