Job description
The Role: To provide support to an intelligent lady who has a very rare neurological condition. She is currently bed-bound with hope to get into a wheelchair very soon. She has very limited mobility and requires support to assist her to live a fulfilling and exciting life.
Main Duties
• All personal care tasks, such as washing and dressing.
• Repositioning with support of cushions.
• To provide and support with food and drinks.
• Ensuring the assistance dog is happy and safe.
• Ensure the assistant dog has food and drink.
• To ensure the house is kept clean and tidy.
• To support with laundry and bed changing
Personal Qualities and Attributes required:
• Respectful of confidentiality and privacy
• Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy
• Respectful of dignity and independence
• Good communication skills and social skills
• Punctual, and flexible
Car owner with driving license and business insurance is essential.
Hours: Various of shifts available, please get in touch to find out more information
Pay: £12.50 weekday and £14.50 for weekends
Self-employed rate: £18.50 weekday, and £21.50 for weekends
Job Type: Part time
