Job description
NXT are working on behalf of a dynamic and innovative business in Carlisle, dedicated to delivering a great service to their clients. With a commitment to excellence, we are seeking a talented and motivated Account Manager to join their growing team.
As an Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact between clients and the internal teams handling and dispatching the products. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive and strategic thinker with excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their expectations are met
- Identifying opportunities for account growth and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement strategies that maximise client satisfaction and revenue
- Developing account plans and strategies to achieve sales targets, aligned with both client and company objectives
- Addressing and resolving client concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Working closely with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and product development to ensure seamless communication and execution of client initiatives
- Providing regular reports on account status, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service or administration preferred but not essential
- Understanding of engineering, tools, or parts desirable, but not essential and the ability to comprehend client needs and challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive problem-solving ability and a results-driven mindset
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
